Capital Group’s office design (situated at “Capital City” mixed-use complex) is acknowledged among best Russian design projects according to Interia Awards 2011. Interia Awards is a new all-Russian project presented by Salon-Press publishing house, which invited more than 100 leading Russian and international architects, designers and decorators to form an expert jury.
The award-winning interior is the first Russian office project by Italian designer Massimo Iosa Ghini. The interior solutions repeat Capital Group’s office multilevel structure. The first level is a client zone, where business and deluxe class property sales deals are signed, as well as deals with office and retail property tenants; it also contains a back-office. The second level represents company founders’ and top managers’ working space. Each zone has an individual design, decorated with classical noble materials: natural wood, glass, polished stone. Communication zones are filled with custom-made furniture, corresponding with the style and mission of each room.
Massimo Iosa Ghini commenting his design solution: “This project has been extremely stimulating in its function; it’s a place of exchange, trade in a very dynamic location. I felt like the right interpreter for its style and quality. Colours are very important for differentiation and recognition of different functions. The top floor has leather shades, matched together with dark woods and whites colours. The clients and working floors are more operative, from warm colours in the sales areas to technical white and grey colours for working areas. I particularly worked on the office lobbies, the “communication” area of the project, where Capital Group expresses its dynamism and strength, and I used a representation made of sculptured and natural elements, with LED sophisticated lightings. ”
Massimo Iosa Ghini is a world-known designer making interior projects for office and retail centres, architectural projects, and furniture. He worked with such companies as Ferrari, Maserati, Alitalia, Superga, Omnitel, Mandarina Duck; his works are exhibited in the world museums and private collections. Today the artist develops interiors for residential lobbies at Capital Group’s headliners, “Capital City” and “Legend of Tsvetnoy” mixed-use complexes.
