Yulia Sushkova on HR prospects

On March, 10 RBK TV Channel aired a live discussion featuring Yulia Sushkova, vice-president for human resources and organizational development - ‘Human Resources that do not exist’.

The participants to the discussion addressed the most important aspects of HR management: manpower shortage, training and career development in the light of the dynamic economic development, increased work efficiency in time of crisis etc.

In answering the question about lack of managers and executives, Yulia Sushkova noted that the market has fairly attractive employers: “Capital Group, for instance, does not have this problem. In the most difficult times the company demonstrated responsibility and respect to its personnel while now managers from other developer firms call us, offer their services; they are ready to wait for a suitable job opening.

Yulia Sushkova shared the best practices of the REMI institute that had been created in early 2009 by concerted efforts of Russia’s seven leading developers (Capital Group, Absolute Investment Group, Don Story, RosEvroDevelopment, commercial real estate agency MIEL, MIRAX Group and ALCON): “In today’s world of booming of economy and technology there is a clear need for professional training. We use our student’s university or college education as a foundation to which we add knowledge and skills with an eye to hands-on experience in development. Our institute offers a year-long course for middle managers and master classes for executives.
